The Indoor Football League (IFL) is proud to announce the addition and partnership of the league's newest team, the Bismarck Bucks.
"We are thrilled to announce the addition of the Bismarck Bucks to the IFL," stated IFL Commissioner Michael Allshouse. "The addition of the Bucks continues to solidify our geographic footprint and intensifies local rivalries. We are looking forward to a long and productive partnership with the team and city."
The Bucks will compete as new members in the IFL's 2019 season. The team will compete in the Bismarck Event Center.
In addition to joining the IFL, the Bucks have also announced that Rod Miller has been named the team's head coach. Miller joins the Bucks with over 20 years of coaching experience including stints with the Philadelphia Soul, Green Bay Blizzard and the Wichita Falls Nighthawks among others. Most recently Miller was the defensive coordinator of the Omaha Beef in 2018 and was the head coach in the China Arena Football League in 2017.
With the inclusion of the Bucks organization, the IFL continues to prepare the 2019 schedule and it will be released in the coming weeks.
The Bismarck Bucks are an indoor American football team based in Bismarck, North Dakota. Founded in 2016, the Bucks enter their third season of play in 2019. The team plays its home games at the Bismarck Event Center in downtown Bismarck.
